There’s a lot I could say about this work, why I chose the opening line from Carolyn Forche’s poem “The Colonel’, why i carved it in this complex and erratic way and what I learned about process, pace and how I work.

This work speaks to my interested in whose words have the privilege of permanence, whose words thoughts and identities have the permission of being set in stone, immortalised unquestioned  truth.
